'Chente' ya tiene su día

Vicente Fernández, artista mexicano de clase mundial, fue reconocido, en Nuevo México, con su propio día. De ahora en adelante, el 12 de julio será "El Día de Vicente Fernández", en aquella ciudad.

Hace unos días, Hill Richardson, gobernador de la ciudad estadounidense, le dio la bienvenida a Don Chente al lugar, a su llegada.

El intérprete de música vernácula ha impuesto su presencia dentro de los Estados Unidos, con una estrella en el Pasillo de la Fama de Hollywood, enriquecido por una multitud, que hasta la fecha ha roto todos los record de asistencia en dicho evento.

A lo largo de su trayectoria, el cantante de "Estos celos" ha grabado 56 álbumes, siendo el primero "La Voz Que Usted Esperaba", en 1968.
